Is It The Right Thing For Your Home Based Business?

When someone is just getting started in a home based business they are unclear as to how they should advertise their business. There are many ways to do that and they are confused about where to start. I hope to shed some light on Pay Per Click advertising and help you get started.

adwords campaign managementPay Per Click advertising can be the quickest way to get results and to also measure results through testing different ads. If you have a budget for PPC advertising it is one of the fastest ways to get traffic to your home based business website. Below are some tips and information in regards to pay per click advertising.

So, what is PPC and how does it work? When you go to Google and sign up for an adwords account, you decide how much money you want to spend. The advertisement that you create is then automatically placed on websites that have Adsense on them. Your ad is shown on sites that have relevant information in regards to your ad. Of course, the larger the site your ad is on, the more traffic they will get and the better the chance that someone will see it and click on it. When they do click on it, then you pay the going rate for that ad. In other words, you do not pay until someone actually clicks on your ad.

This can be more efficient than paying upfront for an ad on a particular website and not knowing if you have targeted the right market. With traditional advertising you can spend a lot of money without being able to track your results as you can with pay per click. This ability to track your results is very useful to all businesses. When you do the right keyword research and those keywords target a specific market then you have a great chance at making sales. Traditional advertising does not afford you the luxury of targeted audiences instead it markets to a very broad audience. If you do some keyword research and bid on long tail keywords (keyword phrases, usually longer than 2 words) there may be fewer searches but the searches are generated by people that are ready to buy.

As I mentioned earlier, Google is the premier place to do pay per click advertising. When someone searches in Google for a phrase and you bid is the highest you will show up in the number one listing. If you haven’t bid the most then your ad may be on the right hand side of the page. The biggest advantage to PPC is seeing immediate results. You will also see if your ad is working and then be able to change it, on the fly, if it is not working.

The downside of PPC is that you can spend a lot of money if you do not know what you are doing. It may be a good idea to look for a good video course on PPC marketing before you dive into the deep end of the pool. There has been a lot written about it, so you should be able to educate yourself about the right way to do it. Just do a search on Google for pay per click courses.

How To Succeed Online With Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is a great way to get very good and targeted traffic to your website or your new blog. The best part about PPC is that you only get to pay for the advertisement only when someone clicks on the ads. And I must say that it definitely looks easy as ABC.

web seo ppcHowever, there are many things in PPC advertising that you need to look out for. We are going to highlight a few of which you have to take note of them and learn how to get around them. We definitely hope that you can have better knowledge after reading to achieve good substantial results from PPC after this.

One of the most important elements of PPC is Keyword Selection. We noticed too many internet marketing beginners are not good at this aspect and do not choose the proper keywords for their PPC campaign. They will end up having to pay more while not reaping good results.

So let me cite an example. Say you want to market a site on Online Network Marketing. Naturally, you will have chosen keywords like ‘Network Marketing’ or ‘MLM’. So when someone looking for information to grow MLM offline goes to Google and search ‘Network Marketing’ only to be disappointed by your website providing ONLINE Network Marketing, not only have you not delivered the correct information to the correct audience, you also spend unnecessary money.

So the key here is to use the correct keywords. Another point to take note is to target your ads based on geographical location. Many marketers do not really give much thought to it but the fact is that your ads won’t get you good results if it runs all over the world. Not a good idea at all. Why? Here’s why…

ppc p2pThe world is made up of many different cultures, races and religions. And all of them will be able to see your ads if you do not restrict your ads by location. However, not all of them are your targeted audience. Eg, you can’t sell pork to Muslims, neither should you place ads for a Chinese website in England.

It is therefore very important that you know who your target audience are and advertise only to them. Of course another point to take note is how much to bid per keyword and the positions you should bid to. Many newbie marketers think that they have to be position at the number one position to be effective.

The sad truth is that the number 1 top position is all good at all. Prospects tend to click on the first ad, and then click on the second to compare prices. After several attempts to find cheaper deals, they may well buy the same item on the ads that is at number 5 position. So you should well place your ads between positions 3-7.

Pay Per Click (PPC) Ads can definitely bring you the most targeted form of traffic to your site. But if done wrongly, it can be one big nightmare for you in your online business.

It is therefore important that you learn and study more about PPC before venturing into it.

Insights To Pay Per Click | Ppc

The Internet has now become an important medium for product and service advertisements. Almost every company that can afford print, radio and TV advertisements have also ventured into placing ads on the Internet.

ppc warezBut with millions of websites out there being visited by millions of computer users, how can you make sure that your ad can be seen by your target customers and that your leads will be followed by these users? Here are a few tips.

1. Place an ad on the websites frequented by your target customers. Before doing this, you need to define who will be your target customers. Placing an ad on sites that they usually visit will increase the possibility that your ad will gain the attention and will be followed your target customers.

Also, consider the website’s search engine placement, traffic, external linking and the other ads placed on it. External linking will determine if there are other sites that link to this site. This will mean that people can get to the site where your ad is placed, even if they are browsing a different site. Check if many of your competitors have ads on this site.

2. Placing ads on some sites cost some money. However, there are also sites that can place a link to your site, product or service in exchange of having their link being displayed on your site. This is also true about the newsletters sent by site owners to its mailing list members regularly.

Also, having helpful links placed on your site and having sites link to your pages help in boosting search engine ranking. This is similar to making a statement that your site’s content is important that other sites have links to your web pages.

3. Pay-per-click (PPC) is also a good method in Internet marketing. You will only need to pay for the ad if the link is clicked. If you prefer this method of advertisement, make sure that you are using services that set limits on daily expenses. There are also services that help you determine effective keywords and monitor the PPC results.

ppc bully4. Choose your domain name wisely. It is still being debated if domain names matter when it comes to search engine placement. Whether it does or not, having product related domain names help consumers remember your domain, that they can go back to your site even without the links.

5. Make sure you have useful content on your sites. While keyword density is important in search engine placement, having useless information or annoying repetition of keywords will not increase your customer’s confidence in your site. It may even affect your sites traffic and can get your site removed from search engines. So make sure that keywords are used strategically.

6. When thinking of keywords, think like your target customers. What do you think are they going to search so they can get to your site? Also, use specific keywords or key phrases. Submitting a single word or a very general phrase to a search engine will not get you to the top of the search results compared to submitting specific keywords that describe your product and services perfectly.

7. Track your ads. Always check how much you have spent on placing links on frequently visited sites and on PPC. There are services that allow you to monitor PPC transactions and how many of these end in sales. You always need to consider if the ads that you have placed on these websites are getting you to your target consumers and if these ads can lead to revenue.

One final tip on marketing products and services, sell the benefits. It will help your marketing strategies a lot if you highlight the benefits of choosing your products and services instead of merely discussing the product specifications. Product specifications may not mean much to customers, unless they know what these stand for (how these specifications affect the quality of the product or service).

Many people say getting to the top of search engine results is difficult since millions of websites exist, which can be using the same keywords. While this is true, this doesn’t mean that your website has to stacked under your competitors’ websites when presenting search engine results. Strategic advertising and linking, together with useful content, can also get you to the top of the search results.
